For fourteen months, the Supreme Court’s conservative bloc has slow-walked the most nakedly unconstitutional move of Trump’s presidency: his attempt to erase birthright citizenship by decree. We...
The Stephen Miller wing wants to create a lily-white ethno-nationalist herrenvolk society. Those who want a compliant source of cheap labor find plenty of common ground there.
Miller's terror attacks on immigrant laborers do isolate them (or at least are intended to) and make them fearful to speak out. At the limit, though, of course you're right -- if Miller were to succeed, the resulting labor pool would likely be more unified.

They are, rather, about creating a second-class citizen serf population that can be underpaid, ignored, and threatened with deportation at any moment—even when its members are American citizens by any sane reading of the 14th Amendment.

These obstacles also stand in the way of access to other public services.
