I am an owner in a franchise system and all of us, in good times, name hiring as our #1 issue. Right now, although my firms pipeline is strong, others face extreme shortages and some can’t seem to find applicants, let alone good ones. Amongst this system, it seems to me most believe the UI argument, even when presented with info that suggests otherwise... and none that I know of has increased wages in an effort to attract talent.
This natural experiment with UI+ has an end date anyways, so im curious what the derivative affects downstream will be on a Q4 when it has ended.
