Paraphrasing the words of Dean Wormer in "Animal House": somebody has to put his foot in it by being willing to set out their guesses, and that foot is me...
Ah, Brad, I do love your brash courage, and am somewhat cognizant of the volume of research that you bring to the effort of making me and you just a bit smarter
So, now that you are done, have a feeling you will drop it for awhile and reinterpret your data. How you received your data would be an interesting topic.
What I see showing up today is that there are high calorie consumers who prefer meat. Then there are the lower calorie consumers who eat mostly high protein grains.
That has been the way since the story of Cain, tiller of the ground, and Abel, keeper of sheep. That Cain killed his brother might not have been a totally bad thing. A bad God is Genesis 4 verse 12.
The other God is probably verse 15 and 16. Cain was not killed and presumably went to live with grain eaters in the land of Nod.
The idea of eating sheep is abhorrent to a lot of people.

Brad, when you say "real value of average per capita income," am I correct to assume that "real value" means you adjusted these numbers for inflation?
thanks for the mothers
Merry Thanksgiving All!!!
